Yay! The girls head to Hilton Head!

Thursday morning Cynthia and I headed down to meet Tonya in Wrens. It was my first girls' beach trip in over 4 years! We love our hubbies/boyfriends, but it was good to get away for a few days.

And how long are we going to be gone again?

Next time we'll be sure to take a bigger vehicle since packing lighter is out of the question. Totally.

With the help of one of Tonya's dad's employees, we managed to pack the car FULL. And what about getting home? Guess I'll just have to pick up another car while I'm down there. HAH!

Luckily the girls took turns riding in the backseat.

Thursday evening...

After our arrival, we got spruced up and hit the outlets for a little while (we couldn't wait) and then headed to the Crazy Crab.

Rain + outlets + mall = bye bye $$$$

It rained so hard from Thursday evening until late Friday night! There was flooding and even some of the roads were closed. So what better way to spend the whole day... eating and SHOPPING!!! We spent the day at the outlets and Shelter Cove mall. Off 5th is the bomb.

Tonya and I convinced Cynthia to buy her first pair of designer jeans! Yay Cynthia!!! Phil's next since he's the last one to not have a pair!

The water was SO calm! It reminded me of Destin.

Dinner at Harbor Town

Last night we headed to Harbor Town where we ate at The Waterfront Cafe (click for a virtual visit).

We had a GREAT time on our trip despite the rain on Friday -- we had a blast shopping for 8 hours straight! The beach was beautiful, the food was great, the wine was dee-lish and the company was awesome. We're already planning next year's trip!
